Around 9 p.m. on Monday, November 11, a robbery involving what appeared to be a handgun occurred on Antonio Arnaiz Street in Makati City, Metro Manila, between Central Square Mall and Greenbelt Mall.
Five Japanese nationals were walking towards Greenbelt when three assailants approached and attempted to snatch one of the victims’ shoulder bags. As the victim resisted, pulling the bag back, one assailant drew what appeared to be a gun, striking the victim’s hand with the grip and then aiming the gun at them, prompting the victim to release the bag. The assailants then fled with the bag on a motorcycle parked nearby.
In case of a robbery, prioritize your personal safety and avoid any form of resistance.
