Poland: Advisory for Independence Day March on November 11
1.November 11 marks Poland’s Independence Day, and as in previous years, gatherings and marches will be held across the country. In Warsaw, a large-scale march is expected, with tens of thousands of participants. According to reports, this year, participants will gather around 2:00 PM near the Palace of Culture and Science, at the Rondo Romana Dmowskiego intersection, where speeches and events will take place before the march proceeds eastward toward the National Stadium (PGE Narodowy).
2.Those planning to be in the central area of Warsaw on the above date should be aware of possible traffic regulations and congestion. Additionally, past Independence Day events have seen incidents where some participants clashed with law enforcement. If you notice such tensions, it is advised not to approach the area unnecessarily.
