Related incidents have also occurred in several European countries.
〇 In this context, it is expected that various events will be held around the world to mark the one-year anniversary of Hamas’s attack on Israel. In Sofia, a related ceremony inviting Bulgarian government officials is scheduled to take place at the Central Synagogue on October 7th. There are concerns that this event could be targeted for terrorist attacks.
〇 As previously mentioned, Bulgaria has multiple facilities related to Israel and Judaism, and the Bulgarian government has increased security around these locations.
