On September 26, attacks by the Israel Defense Forces targeting Hezbollah-related locations occurred in multiple regions within Lebanon, including the Dahieh area in southern Beirut around 3 PM, resulting in significant damage across the country.
There is a risk that the conflict between both parties may escalate further. Those already in Lebanon should exercise extreme caution and ensure their safety by promptly evacuating to safer areas in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Please refrain from traveling to Lebanon for any reason. Additionally, those currently in Lebanon should ensure their safety and evacuate immediately while commercial flights are still operating.
If you come across any information regarding Japanese nationals being harmed, please inform the embassy.
