On September 25, the front associated with AITOR is expected to reach the Iberian Peninsula from the northwest and Cantabrian regions, with heavy localized rain anticipated in much of Galicia, particularly in mountainous areas. Significant rainfall is also expected in the northwest of Castilla y León and the southwest of Asturias. At present, weather alerts for rain and wind have been issued for September 25 in Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Galicia, and La Rioja.
3. On September 26, rainfall is expected to continue in much of Galicia and in the far western parts of the Cantabrian Mountains, accompanied by strong winds in inland areas.
4. On September 27, after the passage of AITOR, a high-pressure system will bring widespread cooler temperatures.
5. The Spanish Ministry of the Interior notes that this type of weather pattern is difficult to predict and recommends frequently checking for updated information.
