- Regarding the confirmed case, on September 2, it was announced that a 7-year-old girl living in the Forest Region of Macenta Prefecture had contracted Mpox. Following this, the ANSS has been conducting follow-up investigations of this case and testing suspected cases across Guinea. However, no new confirmed cases have been reported as of now. Additionally, the clade of the virus, whether Clade 1 or Clade 2, has not been disclosed for this infection.
